Polycoustic Wall Batts Acoustic Insulation
Polycoustic Wall Batts provide acoustic insulation for timber framed construction. Polycoustic wall batts are high density acoustic insulation made from a blend of polyester fibres and bonded with a low melt fibre in order to produce one hundred percent polyester insulation. Such fibres are made from synthetic polymers which are known as polyethylene terephthalate (PET). In order to reduce landfill, plastic drink bottles are recycled to produce a portion of the fibres used to manufacture Polycoustic Wall Batts.
Fibres used in manufacturing of batts are soft and easy to install in walls and in between the floors of timber framed construction + Have a high thermal performance for any given thickness
Nominal R-value: R1.5, R2.0 and R 2,5 m2 k/w + Batt size: 1160 x 430 or 1160 x 580 mm + Nominal thickness: from 75 to 90 mm
