Paternoster Vents

PATERNOSTER VENTS Located in Paternoster Square, London, Paternoster Vents is difunctional as both a public monument and a cooling system for an underground substation. Constructed through 63 stainless steel triangles welded and then glass-blasted, the Vent reach up to 11m in height. The model draws upon experiments of paper-folding of identical isosceles triangles. Photography by David Balhuizen
